The first-generation Alto Works was born in 1987, based on the second-generation Suzuki Alto, which was manufactured according to Japan's unique kei car standards. It combined a three-cylinder turbocharged engine with a DOHC four-valve head, which was revolutionary at the time. Despite its small displacement, the lightweight body was used to achieve performance that surpassed that of sports models with larger displacements. The Alto Works went through a number of model changes, but continued to demonstrate a very high level of competitiveness in rallies and gymkhanas in Japan, and became a car loved by many drivers. However, with the market for sports models undergoing a downturn in the kei car market, Suzuki discontinued the fourth generation Alto Works in 2000. Finally, in 2015, the Alto Works made a comeback. The fifth-generation Alto Works is based on the eighth-generation Alto, with a completely new frame structure.

A world in which the martial art of tanks, 'tankdom', is regarded as a favourite pastime of Yamato Nadeshiko, alongside flower arrangement and tea ceremony. Moreover, the assembled members are all unique individuals. Isuzu Hana, the daughter of the head of the flower arrangement school, Takebe Saori, who is in love, Akiyama Yuukari, a tank maniac, and Reizei Asako, an honour student who is weak in the morning. Will Miho's modest wish for a normal high school life with her friends come true?

She was born into the Nishizumi family, a famous charioteer family, but transferred all the way to Prefectural Oarai Girls' Academy, where chariot sports are not a subject, to escape from chariot sports. However, when tank driving was reinstated as a course at Prefectural Oarai Girls' Academy, she was suddenly assigned to lead the Prefectural Oarai Girls' Academy's tank driving team as its commander. She is shy and cautious. And she values her friends and comrades more than anyone else.
