Car
Nissan (Japanese car company) sunny track 2nd generation B120 type
The second generation Sunny truck was born in 1971 as a pick-up truck version of the second generation Sunny (B110 model). Notably, the model cycle was long, with the basic design remaining unchanged for 37 years from the start of sales in 1971 to the end of production in the Republic of South Africa in 2008. The Sunny Truck boasted excellent performance and running qualities, as well as ease of maintenance due to the simplicity of the mechanism, and became very popular in Japan from the 1980s onwards as a customisation and tuning base. As a result, the model still enjoys a cult following among many fans.

Anime
Urusei Yatsura (see Wikipedia).
Love-comedy gag manga set in the fictional town of Tomobiki-cho, outer space and other dimensions, centred on the unfaithful Ataru Moroboshi and the single-minded alien Ram, who loves him. The novelty of the content and the appealing characters had an impact not only in the 1980s but also in the manga and anime worlds thereafter, and the overwhelming support of the young people of the time led to a huge boom, influencing youth culture. It is one of Rumiko Takahashi's early representative works, and in later years she described this work and Mezon Ikkoku as the manga of her (own) twenties and her own youth.
