Car
Nissan (Japanese car company) Sylvia. 7th generation S15 model
The Nissan Silvia has been Nissan's signature model for many years since sales began in 1965. The fifth generation Silvia (S13 model), which went on sale in 1988, was particularly popular with young people at the time as a "date car", In total, it was an unexpected hit for a coupe model, selling approximately 300,000 units. The 5th generation Silvia, on the other hand, was an FR sports coupe, which at the time was becoming an endangered species, and was also an extremely suitable model for sports driving due to its excellent handling and the availability of a model with a turbo engine that provided ample power. This led to the development of many tuning parts, and the model became very popular, especially among young people who were keen on driving. In October 1993, the sixth generation Silvia (S14) was released. Although the chassis and engine were based on the 5th generation Silvia, the body was 200% more rigid in bending and 150% more rigid in torsion, and the overall length and wheelbase were extended and the wide tread increased stability, and the engine also achieved a power increase. The car's driving performance was also greatly enhanced by the increased power of the engine. However, the reaction from the fans was indifferent. The larger and heavier chassis and new styling were unpopular, and sales were sluggish. At the time of its launch, the stereotype that a short-wheelbase car with a compact body was a sports car was still strong. The 6th generation Silvia was considered by the motorists of the time to have little sports car character. The 6th generation Silvia was judged by the driving enthusiasts of the time to be lacking in sports car qualities. Nissan therefore made a decision when developing its successor, the 7th generation Silvia. The body size was redesigned to be more compact, the driving performance was further refined and the styling was given the sharpness of a sports car. In January 1999, the seventh generation Silvia (S15) was released. Although the wheelbase was the same as the previous generation at 2,525 mm, the overall length and width of the body had been downsized to a size that was easy to handle on Japan's mountain roads, and at the same time the body rigidity was dramatically improved compared to the previous generation. The SR20DET straight-four 2.0L turbo engine, carried over from the S14 Silvia, was 30 hp more powerful than its predecessor, and a newly designed 6MT transmission was adopted to significantly increase its fighting power. As a result, the 7th generation Silvia, with its high driving performance and elegant styling, succeeded in winning enthusiastic support. The 5th (S13), 6th (S14) and 7th (S15) generation Silvias and their sister car, the 180SX, shared the same suspension, basic body structure and basic engine design, which made it possible to share tuning parts. As a result, the number of compatible tuning parts was enormous. The 7th generation Silvia, with its simple and sturdy mechanism and dimensions suitable for drifting, has been very active in the drifting scene in recent years as a rare drifting machine. However, the 7th generation Silvia was more than just a sports coupe for drifting. With numerous tuning parts available, the 7th generation Silvia continues to attract overwhelming support from many tuning car freaks as an all-rounder that can be used not only for drifting, but also for grip driving, maximum speed, drag racing and many other genres.

Anime
Touhou Project (see Nico Nico Encyclopaedia (temporary))
A generic name for a group of games, mainly bullet-hell shooting games, produced by Shanghai Alice Phantom Circle, a private circle run by ZUN. Production began in 1995 and the first game was released in 1996. This is said to be due to the intention of the creator, ZUN, as the character personalities, designs and settings of each work are not necessarily continuous and are not recognised as part of a series. The production, from the programme to the graphics and BGM, is almost solely the work of Shanghai Alice Phantom Band (i.e. ZUN alone). The BGM in particular is highly regarded, and many arrangements have been made by fans. The story and characters are also popular due to the unique worldview set in the imaginary world of Gensougo, which is based on a Japanese motif, the characters' unusual personalities and settings, and the depth of the backstory, and many derivative works (novels, manga, etc.) have been created.
