This event has been held in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, since July 2010. Animator Yasuhiro Okuda designed the characters, which are beautiful girl characters derived from the deities of Ashikaga City's Orihime Shrine and Kadota Inari Shrine (a shrine within the precincts of Shimonokuni Issha Hachiman Shrine). The scale of the event has increased each time it has been held, and it is now one of the most popular events in Japan.

A white fox, messenger of Mitama Kadota, goddess of the Kadota Inari Shrine.　

Goddess of Kadota Inari Shrine. She is good at cutting off bad relationships and kiri-e work. She lives in poverty to support the white foxes that flock to her.

She is a goddess of Ashikaga Orihime Shrine who is good at matchmaking, sewing and cooking. Her specialty is inari sushi. She is distressed by the lack of vitality in Ashikaga City these days.
