Spring in the first year of high school. Kumiko Omae, who was in the brass band in junior high school, goes to visit the brass band with her classmates Hazuki Kato and Saphira Kawashima. There, Kumiko sees her former classmate, Kousaka Reina. Hazuki and Midori seem to have decided to join the brass band, but Kumiko is still unable to take the plunge. What she remembers is what happened with Reina at the brass band competition in junior high school. Through their activities in the brass band, they discover something irreplaceable. This is a coming-of-age story of girls who seriously compete with each other.

Enters Kita-Uji High School because of her admiration for sailor uniforms. Although she has no particular preference, she plays the euphonium in the brass band at her high school.
